Formulas
Let N = nominal odds, S = stake, c = 0.02 = exchange commission.
Per-row real (back-equivalent, net) odds R:
- • Sportsbook → R = N
- • Exchange − Back → R = (N − 1)·(1 − c) + 1
- • Exchange − Lay → R = (N/(N−1) − 1)·(1 − c) + 1 (convert lay to back equivalent on the opposite outcome, then apply commission)
Per-row equivalents:
- • Exchange BACK (gross) B = (R − 1)/(1 − c) + 1
- • Exchange LAY (opposite outcome) L = B/(B − 1)
- • Winnings (return on full win) W = S · R
Blended (combined) result:
- • Total stake = Σ Sᵢ (active rows only)
- • Total winnings = Σ Wᵢ
- • Blended real odds R* = Total winnings / Total stake (stake-weighted)
- • Blended Exchange BACK B* = (R* − 1)/(1 − c) + 1
- • Blended Exchange LAY L* = B*/(B* − 1)
- • Bet type = single source if all rows share one type, else "Combined"
